Preliminary Task: Filming

So my role in filming harambe's funeral was more director type, I told the actors what to do and how we are going to do it, i also linked each shot with what we had on the storyboards by telling my co partner each storyboard we had for the 12 different shots so we can be correct and accurate in filming.

My second role in filming our piece was editing, for editing I used Adobe Premiere because i was very comfortable in using the very powerful video editor which will make our pice look much more fluid. One of our actors was actually ill so we had to replace him with another as he could not attend school for 4 days, so our filming ended up being quite late. I found pictures and sound effects to go with the video to make a church type feeling on the opening scene  ( Establishing  shot )

I also told my co partner to take as many takes as we can because each may have a different feel to it and when I edit it, it will make it easier because we have so many shots, I wasn't operating the camera but we both did similar roles because there was only two of us, so we had to co ordinate and had a lot of fun while doing so.
